- International Palladium Medal
In 1958, the American Section for the United States instituted the International Palladium Medal, which "may be awarded
annually to an individual who has distinguished himself or herself by reason of outstanding contribution to the chemical industry of such character and
scope as to enhance the international aims and objectives of the Société de Chimie Industrielle."

- Othmer Gold Medal Award
The American Section also participates in the nomination and selection of the annual winner of the Othmer Gold Medal Award. This honor recognizes an individual who has contributed in multiple ways to the world´s chemical heritage.
- Winthrop-Sears Award
The American Section also nominates a candidate for the Winthrop-Sears
Medal, given by the Chemists´ Club. The Winthrop-Sears Medal was established in 1970 by the Chemical Industry Association to recognize individuals who, by their entrepreneurial action, contributed to the
vitality of the chemical industry and the betterment of mankind.
