The purpose of Société is to aid and encourage the utilization of scientific and engineering developments by the industry, and promotion of chemistry in public opinion, especially among the young and in the education system. In the pursuit of this objective, Société currently supports an annual Fellowship program, administered by the Chemical Heritage Foundation (CHF) and an annual Scholarship program administered by the American Chemical Society (ACS), each supporting participants in their pursuit of the study of chemistry.
