TOPIC: Women in the Chemical Industry: Career Opportunities and Challenges

According to the Society of Women Engineers, globally women account for 37.8% of STEM degrees.  Yet, in the chemical industry, which employees nearly 10 million people, women account for less than 30%.In leadership, the numbers are far fewer.

Rising to senior levels in any industry is a challenge and in the chemical industry, with fewer women in the pipeline, it is even more challenging.

Come listen to three brilliant and remarkable chemical industry executive women talk about their journey to executive positions, the impact they have made and what we need to do to ensure there are more women in leadership.

This panel will be moderated by Jeanine Hurry, SVP Industrial, Xenon Arc, who is a member of the Societe de Chimie Industrielle Membership Committee. This event was organized by Jeanine and Jennifer McCarthy, Vice President of Business Development, Xenon Arc.

There will be optional networking for the virtual attendees from 12 noon until 1 pm ET.
