DUE TO TODAY'S FORECASTED STORM, THE MARCH 21ST EVENT IS RESCHEDULED FOR APRIL 18TH
In January 2017, Evonik closed the largest acquisition in its history by purchasing the former Performance Materials Division of Air Products. While global in scope, the deal held unique opportunities and challenges as the Germany-based specialty chemicals company absorbed the U.S.-based entity. In the U.S. alone, Evonik added more than 600 new employees and six new locations through the transaction. Key North American executives from each side of the deal will discuss their views from the time the deal was first announced in 2016 through today’s situation, including such mission-critical issues as:
- What was necessary to prepare for a successful integration, from IT processes to employee engagement?
- How did the teams manage through difficulties?
- What does today’s organization look like, and how has Evonik changed as a result of the deal?
