LyondellBasell is one of the largest plastics, chemicals and refining companies in the world and is growing rapidly through organic growth and acquisitions. However, the company was not always in a rosy state. Nor was it always accepted that it could follow a strategy of significant profitable growth.
Bob Patel, CEO of LyondellBasell, will talk about where the company has come from and what he sees as the very feasible growth strategy of the firm. He will give a presentation, followed by a Fireside Chat led by Peter Young of Young & Partners, that will explore Bob’s upbringing, management and strategic philosophies, the challenge of changing a large organization, and where he sees the industry headed.
