TOPIC: "Digitalizing Growth in Chemicals"

The global chemical industry continues to face challenges to foster innovation and deliver profitable organic growth. Digitalization is playing an increasing strategic role in pursuing growth pathways. Fast movers that adopt the right mindset and invest in the right digital resources stand to gain huge benefits, including increased market share, more agile innovation best practices, and profitable growth, both in the near term and the longer term. In just the past year, such major global chemical companies as Arkema, BASF, Evonik, and Solvay have made digital transformation a top priority.

This presentation will address such issues as:

  • What are the digital trends impacting chemicals and materials?
  • Where are companies today with digitalization?

  • What are the barriers to digitalization?
  • What are successful companies doing?
